Abu soon spoke of his mother, and her physical ailments. While the doctor diagnosed severe intestinal inflamation, Abu did not have any funds available for her treatment. He simply uttered his frustration and sadness. Tobias was quick to act and again, used some of his bitcoin to pay for the medical treatment.
A positive start
This was the first time Tobias used some bitcoin to send to Ghana and help out a family in sincere duress. It was a great moment and speaks volumes on the power and efficiency of this technology.
There was simply nobody who could stop this transaction or think something bad of it. This is also what Bitcoin was designed for and the very reason The Ripple Foundation embraced it.

It is so important to tune into the truth of our hearts because they always know which path and choice to make. There is so much scamming going on nowadays. Many people suffer from severe poverty and a lack of resources in these relatively poor countries. As a result, they may resort to drastic measures and attempt to scam Westerners out of their money. Obviously, these thoughts crossed Tobias's mind for a brief moment, but the true voice of the heart was simply stronger. Even though these two men never met, the recognition on a deeper level was there—the recognition that only the heart knows. There was no doubt about it. Through these challenges, a special bond was forged—a bond that was strong. This bond would lead them into new territory, and soon the first practical action was taken.
Purpose.
Falling into grace.
Abu was facing some financial downturn; he was between a rock and a hard place. Tobias was able to lend a hand, and Abu responded with joy. Both men were happy they had this moment of grace and Bitcoin was able to make it happen.
The universe sometimes orchestrates very special moments, like some grand magician painting a complex canvas—an intrinsic web of synchronicities that only becomes clear and full of purpose in hindsight. This was certainly one of them.
Hearts of love.
Both men were simply put together by design. They say that like minds meet, and these two were destined to work together. A seed was planted that day, a seed that would grow into something very beautiful indeed and their hearts already knew.
